Hi everyone!

I feel it’s time to make an official announcement - I am taking a break from my Etsy shop, possibly an extended break or I will be closing my shop altogether. I still have a lot of fabric and materials and I haven’t decided yet if I want to try to use it and make ready to ship items or just sell it off.

For those concerned, this is not a bad thing for me! I have found my Etsy shop to be increasingly more stressful to run as a business over the last few years. It’s time to take things in a different direction for my career and I now have 2 part time jobs while also finishing up my college degree. This just takes too much of my time along with managing a family and household.

I do currently have some items that are ready to ship and for sale in my shop. I am not taking orders for made to order items or custom items.

I want to thank everyone for their support of my small business over this past year!

This year, I made the difficult decision to discontinue custom orders for the 2023 holiday season. The last 2 years put my stress levels at the highest I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t just Etsy orders, but a combination of my college classes (finals are the first week of December), the holiday season being the busiest time at my other job and family obligations. This year, we planned a family trip for December 9-16th, which made the decision easier to stop taking orders 2-3 weeks prior, so I can have everything shipped before we leave.

I do have a handful of items that are ready to ship and will be available until December 8th. I do hope to add a handful more items that I already have made or will make over the next few weeks.

I hope to reopen either around Christmas or after New Years Eve, when I feel ready. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season! 🎄
