Nothing better than getting out and actually LIVING Wisco. 🍂🤎

Chevy pickup, backroads, a little off-road muddin’, and chasing that Wisconsin fall sunset—all to grab authentic shots for Wisco Thread Co. mockups + store photos.

No fake backdrop needed when Wisconsin looks this good. 🌲🛻🌅

Built here. Shot here. Inspired here.
This is Wisco.

Fun business talk for a minute. 🧵🤎

One thing I’ve never believed in is taking advantage of people just because I could charge more.

Wisco Thread Co. will continue keeping our prices aligned with the actual numbers behind the product—product cost, printing, supplies, platform fees, processing, taxes when applicable, and the costs required to keep a small business running.

There’s also more law behind pricing than people sometimes realize.

Businesses generally ARE allowed to set their own retail prices. A manufacturer’s “suggested retail price” is exactly that—suggested. But businesses still operate under federal and state rules involving truthful pricing, competition, below-cost sales and, in certain circumstances, price gouging.

Wisconsin even has what’s commonly called a Minimum Markup Law, which regulates certain sales below cost.

So when you see something priced at Wisco Thread, there’s a reason behind the number.

I believe in making a profit—because a business that doesn’t make money eventually isn’t a business anymore.

But I don’t believe in turning a reasonable profit into “let’s see how much somebody will pay.”

There’s a difference.

If my costs change, prices may have to change. If I can keep them affordable while still keeping the doors open, I will.

Fair to the customer. Sustainable for the business. Honest about both.

That’s how Wisco Thread will continue doing it. 🤎
