Congratulations Rebecca! PFG is very proud of you and most fortunate to have you on our team.
The Southern Textile Association (STA) would like to Rebecca Klossner of Precision Fabrics Group (PFG), , N.C., to our Board of Governors and thank newly retired Palmer Blair, who has stepped aside from the board, for his long service to the association and the textile industry. We certainly already miss Palmer, his warm smile and his gentlemanly personality. Klossner was elected by the Executive Committee to replace Palmer on the board.
Klossner holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State and a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from the NC State Wilson College of Textiles.
In Rebecca’s time at PFG, she has held roles in Medical Nonwoven Research & Development and Product Management, focusing on developing substrates to support PFG’s single and limited use medical market. As director of Science and Technology, Rebecca expanded her responsibilities to lead R&D efforts in both the Woven and Nonwoven divisions across all markets at PFG. She is passionate about developing technical textiles that meet the unique needs of PFG’s variety of customers.
Rebecca said she is excited to join the board of STA, an organization rich in knowledge not only in textiles, but also in adjacent markets. She became a new member of STA in 2023 and said she has enjoyed the quality of the in-person events, from the speakers and facility tours to the networking opportunities. She added that she is committed to supporting STA and the textile industry through her service.
Please help us welcome Rebecca to the board!
