Whewww are you just exhausted from building up your Non Profit while working a full-time job, and putting in a lot of late nights and weekends?
Tired of doing everything herself to no avail
If this sounds like you and what you've been going through, I understand but help is right here......
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve talked to with the same issue. Working as a one-woman show with no end in sight. Yet this is the biggest mistake that I see almost every nonprofit founder make.
No strong and committed board of directors.
It sounds unsexy, but it’s true. Start a nonprofit without a committed team and you’re almost doomed to fail.
I've seen so many founders do this -- recruit
your family and friends to serve on the board. In the beginning it seems like the right thing to do. But it was people who you know and trust. But when the hard work started, they are nowhere to be found.
In order to be successful with your nonprofit, you can’t do it alone. You have to recruit a core group of people who are just as committed and passionate about your mission. Most times, that’s not your family or your friends. But that’s ok! Look for people who are committed to your cause, because without that, you risk people who get distracted and disinterested quickly, and it will lead to unnecessary tension and hurt feelings.
Book your Non Profit Organization Development Session with me and let's make sure you're ready to grow.
