Today has been a bag full of mixed emotions. This evening I received a denial email for a grant program that I applied for to help pay for Hank's chemo. So far I've applied to 11 different grant programs and received two responses, both NOs. π«
But, with that I am still waiting to hear back from 9 other organizations who very possibly could say YES. I'm pretty sure I could sell my left kidney on the black market if I need to. ππ³π³ Still waiting for someone to teach me to sell these million dollar feet pictures. π€·π½ββοΈπ€·π½ββοΈπ€·π½ββοΈπ€·π½ββοΈ
GOOD NEWS: Hank had his first chemo treatment yesterday and seems completely unphased. No negative effects at all. He and Minnie (the kittie) had a staring contest earlier--this is one of Hank's favorite hobbies. My friend and her kids came over for dinner. Hank thoroughly enjoyed all the attention from all of the extra humans. He's now laying in front of our front door, snoring away!
If you haven't joined the fundraiser page yet, check out T-Shirts for Hank. Jillian has posted some fabulous t-shirt options on there! She has very graciously offered to donate 50% of the proceeds to help pay for Hank's treatment!
Please continue to pray for all of us here at my house. Pray for us to all have peace as we face the unknowns of our little family's future. Pray for God's healing for Hank (I believe God cares about every detail of our lives). Please pray for God's provision. I know He will provide everything we need.
