Okay, we’ve had our fun debating how to say “jojoba” (pronounced HUH-HO-BUH) 😂 but here’s why I use it in my products.

I love jojoba oil because it’s incredibly skin-friendly. It closely mimics the skin’s natural oils, feels light instead of greasy, and works well for just about every skin type. It also pairs beautifully with essential oils, which makes it the perfect carrier for my botanical parfum roller blends.

Simple, gentle, and effective. That’s exactly what I’m looking for when creating products for my customers. 🌿✨

Radiant is my Solar Plexus Chakra botanical parfum blend, inspired by confidence, personal power, and believing in yourself.

Made with lemon, cardamom, and sandalwood essential oils in a jojoba oil base, this bright yet grounding blend is one of my favorites in the chakra collection.

The name Radiant was chosen intentionally. It’s more than just the name of a scent—it’s a reminder.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth today at the Port Austin Farmer’s Market! 🌿

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching people choose a chakra flower, only to discover that the matching scent was exactly what they needed or wanted. It doesn’t happen with every customer, but when people participate, it’s been spot on about 90% of the time!

Whether you took home a parfum, sampled a scent, or simply stopped to chat, thank you for making today such a wonderful market day. I appreciate every one of you. ❤️

✨ Facebook reminded me today that I started this journey 5 years ago. ✨

Back in 2020, I started making products for myself. I wasn’t trying to start a business—I was just looking for products that worked for me.

Before long, family and friends started asking, “Can you make some for me too?” So naturally, I did. 😆

What started as Indigo Boutique became Indie Boutique and eventually grew into Hearth & Market.

Looking back, one thing has stayed the same through every version of this journey: I’ve always been my own first customer.

If something doesn’t work for me, it doesn’t make the cut. I’ll tweak it, test it, rethink it, or scrap it altogether. If I wouldn’t use it myself, I’m definitely not going to ask someone else to spend their hard-earned money on it.

Everything I offer is something I genuinely use, enjoy, and feel good about sharing. I’ve always believed you shouldn’t have to choose between quality and affordability.

It’s kind of wild to think that something that started with me making products for myself turned into something I get to share with all of you.

To my family and friends—thank you for being my guinea pigs 😂, listening to my endless ideas, encouraging me when I wasn’t sure where this was headed, and supporting every version of this dream along the way.

And to everyone who has stopped by a market booth, made a purchase, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply followed along on this adventure—thank you. ❤️

Five years later, I’m still doing what I started doing back then: making things I love, using them myself, and sharing them with people who appreciate them too.

Because if it’s not good enough for me and my family, it’s not good enough for Hearth & Market. ❤️

And honestly, that’s pretty cool. 🌿✨
