Decided to keep some of my favorite antique dishes (how about that flow blue and transferware) and display them above the wall of windows in my dining area! It was sorely lacking any color in the space and I thought it would be the perfect spot - this was such an easy task and I love that there’s no measuring involved, I’m definitely a Type B home project girl 🤣

Who else has added a wall of plates to their home recently?

Check out these amazing large silver plated pieces I just dropped off at the ! Champagne bucket and large punch bowl - I purchased these pieces months apart but they just so happen to be the same design and would be amazing statement pieces for a party 🥂

Snippets from my booth out in Winthrop! is in the downtown hub of the local lakes region - what better place to stop and shop and find a new piece that’s perfect for a lakeside camp? ☀️ 🏠 🌲

I may have snuck over to an auction presale this afternoon for an hour and spent a whopping $14, and of course took a look at what was being offered for the main sale this evening even though I’m still “taking a break” from major buying.

These are a few of the pieces I really loved but will sadly not be bidding on tonight - outdoor family time on this beautiful 80° day is where I’ll be instead. ☀️

What would you be bidding on from this selection? 💸

You might see a little less of my face on here over the coming months since I’m gearing up for school vacation. My main gig is SAHM and I’ll be keeping pretty busy trying to enjoy this very short summer season in Maine with my kids.

I’ve actively been trying to hold back a little on yard sales, estate sales and thrifting (which is SO HARD especially this time of year when there are sales everywhere!) but I want to focus a little on *actually* trying to sell more of the inventory I already have, instead of just lovingly gazing at it on the shelf as I pass by my office. It’s so easy to keep collecting more and more, and if I see a good opportunity (hello, free piles) I won’t pass it up 😆 but I’m working on mindful shopping / sourcing and getting organized and then I’ll be back full steam ahead!

Loved finding this unique handmade lamp recently - have you ever found mid century popsicle stick crafts?

The popsicle stick craze in the 1950s–1960s happened during a folk art boom where Americans transformed cheap craft sticks into intricate, geometric trinkets. Driven by postwar leisure time, summer camps, and popular crafting booklets, this hobby produced items ranging from decorative boxes, fruit baskets, to vintage lamp bases.

💡 This lamp was made by a Boy Scout “back in the day” and had been in a family’s home for a very long time and they decided it was time to do some spring cleaning & find it a new home.

These popsicle stick craft lamps weren’t an official Boy Scouts invention, but they became a common project at scout camps and summer programs because they taught practical skills using inexpensive materials.
