My first artwork made for a wine label is out and the wine is amazing!

Meet HUCK 🐈‍⬛🥂🍾
A bodacious juicy sparkling rosé of Carignan and a little Rousanne from my talented friend Avi Deixler of Absentee Winery.

Summer of 2019 before I opened I reached out to Avi, one of my favorite winemakers, to see if he’d be interested in my creating art for a label of one of his wines. To my surprise, he responded and said he was into it. Over the course of a month I worked to create something that spoke to him and was expressive of his magical wines. 40 cat drawings later we decided on this one. Huck is named after Avi’s black cat Huckleberry and a wine you don’t want to miss. Stop by or your local natural wine shop to pick up a bottle. Cheers!

I painted this for my dear friend Erin and her husband Shane, who were recently married in Ireland. It captures their first dance and the incredible love between these two. Such a joy to share in their beautiful wedding!
