Today, Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC invites the community into a powerful moment of reflection and healing.

Founder Nakisha Jolanda Gregory, known as The Crown Confidence Alchemist, often reminds women navigating hair loss that alopecia is not just a physical experience. It is also an emotional and identity journey.

One of the most powerful exercises within the Crown Confidence framework is writing a letter that begins with two simple words.

Dear Alopecia.

For many women, alopecia arrived unexpectedly. It changed reflections in the mirror, challenged confidence, and forced conversations with identity that were never anticipated, but healing begins when we give ourselves permission to speak honestly about that experience.

Today, Baldie Brigade invites Empresses everywhere to participate in a healing reflection. If you could write a letter that began with the words Dear Alopecia, what would you say?

Would you speak about the fear you felt when your hair first began to change?

Would you talk about the moments that made you stronger?

30 Day Crown Confidence Challenge

Yesterday we began our journey by introducing ourselves and celebrating the beautiful Empresses who make up the Baldie Brigade community. Seeing women from different cities, backgrounds, and stages of their journey come together reminded us of something powerful.

We are not alone. Today we take the next step in our Crown Confidence journey.

30 Day Crown Confidence Challenge
Day 1

Today begins Day 1 of the Crown Confidence Challenge created by Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC and its Founder, Nakisha Jolanda Gregory, The Crown Confidence Alchemist.

This challenge was designed to create a safe and empowering space where Empresses navigating alopecia, hair loss, and identity can reflect, share, and grow together.

For the next 30 days, the Baldie Brigade community will be engaging in daily reflections that encourage confidence, healing, and sisterhood.

Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC would like to share an important update with our community.

The Crowned Voyage cruise has been postponed. As no deposits were secured, the reserved cabins were released this week. While this was initially disappointing, we believe deeply in timing and alignment. There will be future opportunities when the moment is right for our community.

What remains unchanged is our commitment to creating safe, intentional spaces for Alopecia Empresses to gather, grow, and heal.

Founder Nakisha Jolanda Gregory is now exploring interest in hosting a weekend Straight OUTTA Hair Retreat in Williamsburg, VA. This would not be a vacation. It would be a transformational experience rooted in the Baldie Brigade philosophy:

Education first
Inner work first
Confidence built from the inside out

The retreat experience would include:

• Alopecia education and awareness
• Identity recalibration and guided mirror work
• Crown Confidence discussions
• Small group circles and facilitated healing conversations
• Prayer and reflection space
• Rest without performance
• Sisterhood without pressure

There would also be intentional joy woven throughout the weekend. Dress up dinners. Squad photos. Even a pink sparkly heels moment. But always grounded in education, enlightenment, and empowerment.

The Crowned Voyage is our very first Baldie Brigade Invasion at Sea, sailing January 23–31, 2027 from Miami, Florida aboard Carnival Magic. This is a National Crown Confidence Day Experience, presented by Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC and sponsored by Marvel-LOUS Vacations.

This voyage is not about appearances or performance. It is about education, integration, rest, and embodied confidence for women navigating alopecia, illness, identity shifts, and life transitions. It was designed as a space to pause, reconnect, and move forward with clarity and self trust.

Throughout the voyage, we follow a gentle rhythm. Each day includes one shared experience, balanced with freedom, leisure, and personal exploration. Nothing is mandatory. Everything is intentional.

At embarkation, each Empress will be placed into a C.R.O.W.N. Team, a small, thoughtfully curated group created to offer ease, support, and connection if you choose it. These teams are not competitive and are never overwhelming. They exist as a soft landing space, not a requirement.

At Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC, everything we create is rooted in one truth: confidence is not worn first. It is built, integrated, and then expressed.

In 2011, our Founder, Nakisha Jolanda Gregory, began a personal journey after losing her hair that reshaped her understanding of identity, healing, and confidence. That journey ultimately led to the creation of National Crown Confidence Day, observed every year on January 25 and officially approved by the National Day Calendar. This day exists to honor confidence built from the inside out, especially for those navigating hair loss, illness, trauma, and major identity shifts.

In 2027, National Crown Confidence Day will coincide with Nakisha’s personal , marking a powerful full-circle moment of reflection, gratitude, and recommitment to the Baldie Brigade mission.

As Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC looks ahead to 2026 and beyond, the organization is intentionally evolving, rooted in everything that has been learned through community, connection, and lived experience.

What began as a bold apparel brand has grown into something deeper. The next chapter centers education, awareness, and healing first, because true confidence does not start with what you wear. It starts with understanding who you are, what your body is experiencing, and how to move through life with clarity and self trust.

Moving forward, Baldie Brigade Apparel LLC will focus on creating educational workshops, guided conversations, retreats, and community experiences designed to support women navigating hair loss on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Apparel remains an important part of the brand, but it now lives on the back end as an expression of confidence, not the entry point.

This restructure allows Baldie Brigade to build spaces that are intentional, inclusive, and grounded, where women do not have to perform confidence, overcompensate, or show up as anything other than themselves.
