•Bubble bag - 7 cents
•Poly mailer - 4 cents

•Thank You stickers - 5 cents
•Gift Stickers - 6 cents

Overall cost to safely, efficiently, aesthetically and cost-effectively send out a fragile item = 30 cents.

Business cards printed through , clear poly bags, bubble bags and poly mailers purchased through . Labels are straight from prime 2-day delivery & thank you stickers/gift stickers come from one of my favorite vendors (but they have them all over the web for various prices based on the kind of design you want).

This method does not require priority bubble mailers, which gives you the opportunity to have a secure way of sending out packages when you can’t use them/don’t have access to them or the buyer does not want to pay the premium for priority shipping.

This package weighs in at under a quarter of a pound by a long shot. Perfect for sellers who ship small items under the lowest shipping bracket, but want to make sure they arrive protected to achieve that 5 ⭐️ review. 🙌🏻

Busy week in the Cow Lady house with finals and my other job (and a sick kid, nail in the tire, + >insert 1k other things that could go wrong & did< 😆😩)

I have not been able to post in a few days but it’s business per usual in the office/behind the scenes.

I highly recommend relisting your items if that platform has been slow for you lately.

NGL- I took some real time off this summer. The easiest way for me to stay selling while giving myself a LOT more summer freedom was to move down to one platform.

Why? It was just more manageable. I still made great profits, but not having to worry about the cross posting, deleting sold items and refreshing listings across 4-5 platforms etc. eased my anxiety SO MUCH!!

So, the other day I decided to deactivate and delete all of my Mercari listings (much easier than doing it individually). I have relisted about 1/3 so far of my current inventory.

Within two days of reloading these 150 items, I had made 8 sales! Whew!! Add that to the sale I ran on Posh and mama made some real bank this weekend. 👏🏻

Have you gotten the itch or tried bulk deactivating & then relisting your items on Mercari? If so, how did it work for you?

Also- What do you do when you feel overwhelmed and want to take a step back for mental health’s sake?

Do you reduce your platforms or just stop listing? Put your shop on vacation?

I want to know!

Do you smell small items?

If you sell small accessories, new jewelry, used jewelry, stickers, buttons, children’s clothes etc. these small (6x9) poly mailers are EVERYTHING!

Large enough to fit a rollo or dymo size label. Make your postal workers happy knowing they can deliver the same item and take a 3rd of the space up on their truck!

My postal worker smiled and mentioned “I wish everyone packaged their items according to size” and it really got me thinking as to why I waited so long! Also made me wonder how many other people ship in larger-than-necessary boxes or poly mailers.

I wondered if there might be more liability in using these… Perhaps items getting misplaced or lost during the shipment process.

So far, happy to say, zero issues! All small items in their itty bitty packages have been received safe and sound to their (new) happy owners!

If you are looking for new packing options I highly recommend checking out ❤️ A pack of 25 6x9 patterned polys are only $2.49!! I buy my merch bags, poly mailers, tape refills, bubble Jewlery wrap and tissue paper there! I usually get my items delivered within 48 hours.

Getting ready to rip down my whole and start from scratch cause it was great the last two months and then CRICKETS this July😢

As for Mercari Local… I’ve heard good and bad things… Anyone who has had success have some stories for your girl?!
