Opalessence Studio Margery V Erickson is a fiber artist, indie dyer, weaver, pattern designer, and offers instruction in weaving and spinning.

Margery's formal education includes a degree in Social Science from Penn State and a Masters degree from Millersville University in Special Education. She has been designing and making clothing since she was 13. In 1990 she took her first weaving class at the Manning’s in East Berlin, PA. Other weaving instruction continued through workshops and home study courses. In 1991 she became a master art

isan in weaving with the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman. She continues weaving, teaching and selling her hand woven items for both the home and body. In 1997 she became an accredited T'ai Chi Chih Instructor. Individual and small group classes are also available.
