Today, I’m starting on a baby blanket as a gift for a very special little lady. I received the yarn over the weekend, and after several complete redesigns, I’m ready to start!!

This will be a fun, relatively simple, and very rewarding project, while we’re all .

We’ve been keeping busy, and my son starts official distance learning tomorrow. What a crazy time this is, right now!! To be completely honest, I’ve been trying to avoid the time suck of Instagram, but I’ve been failing miserably with Facebook.

I tested this Tunisian Sparsh Poncho for my friend Arunima of . This pattern is available free on her blog in a range of sizes from toddler to adult. This was such a fun make, and Eliza loves it!! Yes, she’s wearing two different dresses underneath it for this impromptu photo shoot. She is such a little diva...look out world!

I made these mug cozies last week as Valentine’s gifts for Avery’s teachers. I made them a little differently than the ones I’ve done before, and I really like how they came out! These are done in Harrisburg’s school colors!

I usually add a jar of homemade hot chocolate mix to these mugs, but ran into a snag. When I went to look up the recipe I usually use, the website is under construction!! I have all the ingredients, but no idea the proportions to use. I know I’ve written it down at some point, but can’t find that either. 😭😭

I got to test this Twisted Alpine Beanie pattern for my friend , and I just love it!! I made this the night before my little trip to Omaha, and less than 24 hours later, it was claimed by my good friend JoEll . Doesn’t she look great in it?! (She snagged it so quickly, I hadn’t even gotten pictures, yet!)

This past weekend I made a super fun and quick little trip down to Omaha, so I could join my Mom at a Chinese New Year dinner party. Obviously, I couldn’t take a naked bottle of wine. So, like the proper ho**er I am, I made this super cute plaid on my way down. I had exactly enough time to make it...I started it when we got in the car, and was finishing the last round as we pulled into the driveway! I’m so happy with how it turned out, this might be my favorite bag so far!!

Check out the texture of this yarn. 😍😍 This Caron Latte Cakes is so soft and dreamy!!!

I don’t usually go for textured yarns like this, so I’m so glad I took the leap to try this out! I can see myself making a super soft, luxurious throw out of this, to wrap up in on cold nights. This, however is the Sparsh Poncho, which I’m testing for my friend Arunima, of . It’s not something I would normally wear myself, nor would I go for this color. Eliza, on the other hand, is going to love this!!! It’s been my **er project over the past couple weeks.

I love them all so much! I’ve since made one of these hats for myself, another Twist it Your Way Headband as a gift for my sister-in-law, and I’m working on another headband for myself.

The **er is back at it!! My son’s new school has a very different pick up routine than his old school. We weren’t even using the pickup line until the weather got colder. The line is very short, and parents don’t line up very early. I do get about 20-30 minutes of hooking time in, though, so I’ll take it!!

I’ve finally started on my very long list of crocheted Christmas gifts I hope to make. This will be an ear warmer for Avery’s teacher. I’m using Scarfie yarn for the first time, and I think it’s a perfect match to this pattern. I loooove how it’s working up! It’s the Twist it Your Way Headband by Kelsie of .

One thing lead to another, and suddenly, instead of weaving in all those pesky ends in Eliza’s dress, I’ve made her a set of wrist warmers, and now I’m working on leg warmers. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love Thanksgiving already, but I’m super excited I finished this super adorable designed by for Eliza to wear on Thursday. I can’t wait for her to wear it and watch her twirl around. I just made a few modifications to make it a little longer. This pattern was super easy and quick to work up. This was my first time using Lion Brand Mandala Ombré, and oh my...I loved working with it so much!!! It is so soft and buttery. Eliza loves her new rainbow dress, and was not happy about taking it off so I can finish weaving in all the ends.

I’d originally wanted to make one for myself, also, but just ran out of time. I will definitely still make one, just not in time for Thanksgiving.

I had to get a few progress shots of Eliza modeling it halfway through, too, for the challenge. After that little shoot, I had to chase her around the house, yarn in hand, for a good 10 minutes, before bribing her with another dress so I could get this off of her. 😂😂
