Recently, R.R. shared these photos of two Saddle Style holsters I made for him years ago. He also left this comment:
"I have known Sam since the early 80s. He has made at least 13 holsters ranging from pocket, inside, outside, shoulder and spiral binders. I am currently waiting on another one that is about done right Sam. I believe this speaks to his quality."
I appreciate the kind words and the many years of friendship and business.
What really stands out to me is seeing holsters I made decades ago that are still in service today. The leather has developed character from years of use, but they're still doing the job they were built to do.
These holsters were also personalized with R.R.'s initials, something I've offered for customers who want to make their holster uniquely their own.
When you build one holster at a time, the goal isn't just to make something that looks good when it leaves the shop. The goal is to make something that will still be serving its owner years down the road.
