Here’s the answer to my previous post…

MY MACHINE IS NOT YOUR TABLE. 🤦‍♀️

I know it’s tempting. I know there’s a nice flat surface right there in front of you. But please resist the urge to set your drinks, phones, tools, purses, food, or whatever else you’re carrying on my sewing machine. It’s rude and there’s an actual table about four feet to the right.

P.S. That is my Diet Coke for illustration purposes only. The culprit used a full flavor Coke.

After years of sewing, for the first time ever, I was told my price is too high.

It got me thinking as I sent the owner of this piece his total (a different person). I’m certain it cost him more to have these patches sewn on than he likely paid for the shirt itself. And sometimes, that’s just the nature of sewing.

Sure, you’re paying for thread and the use of my machine, but more than anything, you’re paying for my time, my skill, and the years of experience it took to learn this craft and deliver the quality you’ve all come to know. Every stitch and every finished piece reflects that.

Always remember, you get what you pay for.
