BecomingBearsETC Original patterns and handmade treasures. I began sewing when I was a little girl. I love playing with fabric, buttons, and vintage linens.

I often repurpose fabrics in my creations. This offers a great variety of color and texture choices, as well as being good for the planet! It is wonderful to see an outdated or outgrown article of clothing given new life as a teddy bear, toy, pillow, or quilt. In recent years I have focused more on creating whimsical patterns that are inspired by my love of nature.

Happy World Turtle Day! Many of our local turtles are moving around this time of the year. If you see one on the road, please help it cross safely by moving it off the road in the same direction as it was going. The turtles and I thank you!
