i don’t even tell people when my mental health starts going down. once somebody told me how draining it is to love anybody with depression and anxiety it stuck w me. the last thing i ever want is for the people i love to feel drained because i'm trying so hard just to keep my head above water. so instead, i drown silently, alone and by myself. And it’s not bc i want to, but bc I would literally rather suffer in silence than be a burden to anybody around me fr. But that's a different type pain most people will never understand.

My mental health comes first now, no debate. I’ll hang up the phone, ignore calls, pull back from friendships or relationships, whatever I gotta do. If it throws off my peace or has my mind feeling shaky, I’m gone. I’m choosing myself before anything, and I hope you moving the same way… cause my mental health ain’t something I’m willing to gamble with anymore! 📌💯
