The elephant design was sourced and inspired by a 1920s Von Lengerke & Detmold catalog that featured our boots and tattersall shirts! Sourcing responsibly is one of our cornerstones at Avontuur so, we used North Carolina based company who uses only 100% USA cotton, then they mill, make, and custom garment dye their shirts in house.

Meet our makers!tables was founded by Charleston local Capers Landrum Cauthen. His passion for historical preservation led Cauthen to start a company dedicated to repurposing Charlestons reclaimed wood. Landrum tables are masterfully crafted but they also carry the character and one of a kind uniqueness of their previous life.
