This week on My Life In Resin : Valentine's. For the last few years I've cut out and written hearts for every day from the 1st to the 14th of February and daily put them on my girls' bedroom doors. I've done uplifting quotes, things I love about them, and everything in-between. This year of course I had to use resin. I used the letters of their names and words describing them. Some worked better than others. I need a hand held cricket type machine for words. Any ideas?

This week on My Life In Resin: More Snow. This was the only kind of snow that I am a fan of. I made about 50 of these for Christmas this year. They were so fun to do. Here are 2 different colors I made. What color would you have done?

This week on My Life In Resin: Help part 3. My girls asked Santa for jewelry this year. I got the idea to make them a memory charm bracelet. I asked them when they think about certain people what comes to mind. Then I put those "memories" into the charms on their bracelets. (Most their memories were the same.) I love how they turned out. What would you pick as your memories? Who would you pick?

This week on My Life In Resin: Help part 2 (Of ?). Back in October I posted the first picture to get ideas to use the hexagons I bought. I got one of my great ideas to make memory charms out of them for Christmas gifts (thus the reason no posts for months). This first one is mine. 1-my mom and girls bought me a bright bouquet of flowers to show support. 2- Flowers from the first bouquet my husband had delivered. And 3- My dad's funeral flowers. Without these 3 I wouldn't have a hobby I love. I think they turned out pretty good. Stay tuned to see what else was made.

This week on My Life In Resin: Christmas traditions. Every year we get my girls a new Christmas ornament. This was last years. I asked them to send me a picture of one of their favorite memories in the year and I put them in an ornament for them. Do you have a memory you would like put in an ornament?

This week on My Life In Resin: Help! ! I ordered these thinking they would be good for a project I wanted to try. The are WAY smaller than I thought they would be and as thin as a piece of paper. I think they're too small for a necklace. What can I do with them?

It kinda makes me want to create a contest just for my "friends". My question is what types of prizes make you want to enter? What types of contest/giveaways work best?

This week on My Life In Resin: "I have an idea!" Those are words that my girls and my husband are starting to hate coming from my mouth. It usually means they need to help with something or try some food creation and usually my ideas are flops. This week though my idea actually worked. Pictures don't do this justice. It was for a galaxy birthday party. They all glow in the dark. I loved it. What do you think?
