John here. Yesterday was a really special day.

My Dad and I got to meet David Hirsch, the founder of the Special Fathers Network. David is on a national tour sharing his experiences and promoting his new book, Dads Raising Children With Special Needs & Disabilities: A Guide For 21st Century Dads.

My Dad has known David for a long time. He has been on David’s podcast and spoken at conferences David organized. But yesterday was the first time they got to meet face to face. And when they saw each other, they hugged.

David spoke about something really important. He said that parents raising a child with disabilities should never feel alone. There are others who are in the same situation. Others who understand. Others who can share their experiences and offer support. The Special Fathers Network brings together more than 900 dads in 14 countries. That is an amazing thing. If you are a Dad, you should think about joining the Special Fathers Network.

At one point, David gave away a pair of John’s Crazy Socks that we donated to support him. I loved that. And then he did something really special. David presented my Dad with a Special Father’s coin and called him a fantastic father.

I stood up and thanked David for the work he does. And I told everyone about my Dad.He gives me strength and confidence. I love my Dad.

John here. I have something really exciting to share. My brand-new Cowboy Boot Crew Socks are here and I love them so much.

We looked back at ten years of John's Crazy Socks and asked ourselves what do our customers love most? Cowboy-themed socks kept coming up again and again. So, we made them.

Brown and tan with golden cowboy boot details. I think these are some of the coolest socks we have ever made. Father's Day is this Sunday, June 21st. If your Dad loves cowboys, country music, or just loves great socks, I think he would really love these. I know I do.

Every pair ships with candy and a note from me. Because every package should bring a little happiness.

John here. My Dad and I have built a business based on love.
It is a business. My Dad always says that if we don't sell enough socks, we all go home. But it is a business built on love.
The love I have for my Dad when I asked him to go into business with me. The love my Dad has for me when he said yes. My Dad gives me strength and confidence.
Father's Day is coming up on June 21st. If you have a Dad who has believed in you the way my Dad believes in me make sure you tell him you love him. (And maybe get him some socks filled with love. )

I think every business should be built on love.

John here. Our 250 USA Crew Socks are BACK IN STOCK in both medium and large.

Last time we had these, the large size sold out fast. So if you missed them before, now is your chance. Do not wait.

Giant stars. Bold red, white, and blue. These are some of my favorite socks we make. I love wearing them and I love knowing what they stand for.

And the timing could not be better. Flag Day is June 14th. Father's Day is June 21st. The Fourth of July is right around the corner. These are the perfect socks for all of it, to wear, to celebrate, and to give as a gift.

And if you want to give Dad the full patriotic experience, check out our Patriotic Gift Bag, three pairs of our best patriotic socks for just $42.99. That is 10% off with the discount already built in.

Every pair ships with candy and a note from me. Because every package is a dose of happiness.

By now, many of you have seen the story about Jesse Ridgway, the YouTube personality who announced he and his wife terminated a pregnancy after a Down syndrome diagnosis. The response has been enormous — and often ugly on all sides.
I am not here to judge that decision. That is not my place.

I am here to talk about what parents facing this diagnosis deserve to hear. Not just the medical challenges - those are real and they matter - but the full picture. The joy. The humor. The love. The irreplaceable presence that a person with Down syndrome brings into the world.
When John was born with Down syndrome, a well-meaning family member told us that someday John might grow up to push a broom at Burger King. When my other sons were born, I believed anything was possible. They could grow up to play centerfield for the New York Yankees.

That is the gap this piece is about.

My son John is 30 years old. He is an entrepreneur, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, an EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and a keynote speaker who has addressed Congress and the United Nations. He also competed in the New York State Special Olympics this week and watched the Knicks with his brother and friends last night.

We should never be blinded by a person's limitations. We should be awed by their possibilities.

I wrote this piece this week. John has the last word. He always does.

"Some guy named Jesse said people with Down syndrome don't have good lives. My name is John Cronin. I have Down syndrome. I have a great life. My life is worth living."

John just got back from the New York State Special Olympics Games in Utica, and we have to tell you about it. 🥉🥉

This past weekend, John competed in the New York State Special Olympics State Games. He earned bronze medals in the javelin throw and the 4x100 relay race. And in the 100-meter dash, he ran his heart out against some of the best athletes in New York State.

After the race, John said: "I ran as hard as I could."

And that's all any of us can do. Run as hard as we can.

John also said: "I am so grateful for all the support I received. So many people were rooting for me."

The State Games are about more than medals. There are the opening ceremonies, the bus ride with teammates full of laughter, the closing ceremony and dance, and the chance to see so many friends. It is always one of the best weekends of the year.

When you see the joy the State Games brings to hundreds of athletes, you understand why we pledge 5% of our earnings to Special Olympics. We have donated more than $850,000 to charity and every pair of socks you buy helps make moments like this possible.

Thank you for your support. It means everything.
