Today, over at Penny Lane Quilted Memories I finished my 250th memory quilt, and my heart is so full.

Two hundred and fifty quilts (over 5000 shirts i have cut) made from shirts that once hugged someone you love. Shirts that held laughter, tears, milestones, and moments that can never be replaced. Every stitch carries a story, and every quilt is made with care, patience, and deep respect for the memories sewn inside.

This work is personal to me. I think of my brother Kyle often while I sew—how memories matter, how love never really leaves us, and how something handmade can bring comfort when words fall short.

Thank you to every family who trusted me with pieces of their lives. Allowing me to turn your memories into something lasting is an honor I will never take lightly.

Quilt #250 isn’t just a number. This one happens to be a memory quilt of a husband, a dad, a grandpa, a brother, a friend
