Okay last one. I promise, then I’ll move on.
The feeling of finally having made my dream costume. Though my Riverdance costume making isn’t finished. I would like to make all the lead female costumes. So far I have the first two made. Though I am remaking the Countess Cathleen bodice. The plan is to debut this dress at a Halloween Feis in October. It will be my first feis back from taking two years off and one year off from dancing.

I’m so excited to share the photos from my photo shoot back in July.
It was on my bucket list to be able to work with Julie Floro✨Creative/Fantasy Portrait Photographer and I’m so glad I was able to do it this year. I also got to see some really cool sites while visiting.

I have gained quite a few new followers so I thought I’d reintroduce myself to all of you.

My name is Amy, I am a costume maker for over 10 years now.
I began sewing when I was 5 years old making clothes for my stuffed animals. My Oma(grandma in Dutch) thought me the basic alongside my mom and it grew from there.

I started Amy Lê Atelier back in 2021 to document and share my journey making Belle’s yellow ballgown. Since then I have undertook some other big costumes like my Christine Daaé costumes from Phantom and some of the Riverdance dresses. I also have begun dabbling in the historical costuming side as well, and I can’t wait to share my findings.

I also take commissions on costumes when my schedule allows.
