2023 - new year same mission!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to make donations this past Saturday, our first collection of 2023. We’re so humbled to see familiar and new faces. Thank you for continuing to support Ukraine and for those who are just learning about our group - welcome!

Thank you from all of us for what you helped us accomplish in 2022! Hopeful for a more peaceful 2023 for Ukraine 🇺🇦

It’s been 10 months since we started this group. 10 months since war hit Ukraine. We continue to be fully volunteer and donation run. While our physical in person donation volumes have dropped significantly, our desire to help Ukrainian children continues to burn strong. 💙💛💙

With your donations we’ve sent 25,000 lbs of humanitarian aid to Ukraine valued at $400,000 USD (medicine, formula and other baby foods, clothing, toys, diapers, wipes etc).

In addition to shipping items to Ukraine, we’ve also sent $32,965 directly to volunteers in Ukraine to who help purchase and distribute baby foods, medicine, medical equipment, baby formula and many other basic necessities !

The above statistics include donations sent/received through 12/31/22.

Thank you for supporting us! So many of you are our personal friends, family and acquaintances but many are also strangers, neighbors, community members and friends of friends. We thank you for supporting us these last 10 months and giving us all a collective opportunity to help the children of Ukraine 🇺🇦

As promised in the beginning, we keep logs of all of our donations received and sent 💙💛

If you wanted to support us some more, we’re accepting donations via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Amazon shipments and a non profit link (tax deductible).

Monetary donations are sent to volunteers in Ukraine who help purchase and distribute goods locally. We do not send funds directly to families in Ukraine but help supply goods 🙏🏻🇺🇦😌

To all of our donors, one time and repeat who have sent monetary donations via Venmo, Zelle and PayPal- thank you!

With your monetary donations, we continue supporting projects directly in Ukraine. Last week we sent $1000 USD which were used to purchase 166 boxes of baby formula/food directly in Ukraine. As you can see in the video, there’s no light or electricity but the amazing volunteers continue helping no matter what the conditions.

This past weekend, we received a large donation from Sharon, Doug and their community at the Laguna Niguel Seventh day Adventist Church. All of the items delivered will be shipped next week to children in Ukraine as part of our final shipment of 2022 💙💛

Sharon and her husband Doug have been collecting donations and supporting SaveBabyUA’s mission to help Ukraine for over 6 months months.

As we come to the end of 2022, we wanted to update everyone about our current projects and ways you can help Ukraine. There’s no shortage of needs.

Here’s what we’re currently working on:

1. Collecting goods for shipment to Ukraine. This is our final shipment for 2022. Let’s see if we can make this the biggest shipment yet 😌 new and gently used goods accepted until Saturday 12/3/2022 11 AM - 2 PM. You can drop off items in person or via Amazon wishlist.
2. Collecting monetary donations for the purchase of basic necessities directly in Ukraine through volunteer groups who specialize in helping children and mothers to be. These donations should be marked as “donations for Ukraine.”
3. Ukraine toy drive. Collecting monetary donations for holiday toy drive. Gifts will be purchased in Ukraine from a single mother in Ukraine using her craft to support her child. These gifts will then be distributed to children in Ukraine via volunteers. 🧩 ⛄️ These donations should be marked as “Toys for Ukraine.” Deadline 12/7/2022
4. US toy drive new/gently used toy drive for shipment to Ukraine. We ask for anyone bringing toys to keep these items small and lightweight due to shipping costs. Collection deadline: 12/3/2022
5. Collecting monetary donations via nonprofit link. See if your employer offers donation matching first. You can double your impact this way. 💙💛

Important note: this is our final shipment of 2022 departing for Ukraine. This does not mean this is our last shipment. It is just the last shipment we can guarantee to make it out of the US in 2022. We continuously support Ukraine even on days when we are not shipping packages out📦 😉

Other important ways to help is to continue spreading awareness about the needs of Ukrainians impacted by war. Share our page, our Instagram page, our posts and general information about our group with anyone who may be willing and interested in helping children who remain in Ukraine. 🇺🇦

🎁Toys for Ukraine🇺🇦$10 a gift 🎁

For the past 8 months, we’ve been supporting Ukrainian children. Our focus has been and will remain necessities but with the holidays approaching, we wanted to offer you the opportunity to support a project to make the dark days of Ukrainian 🇺🇦children just a little bit brighter ⭐️

💙 is a Ukrainian single mother using her craft to support her child. We wanted to do something special for children while also supporting a mother in need as well as the local economy. We will purchase educational boards suitable for babies aged 8 months and up from to distribute to kids in Ukraine.

💛Donation collections for this project will run from 11/18/22 - 12/7/22. This will give us enough time to place the order in time for the holidays.

We attached notes of encouragement and our contact information so parents could get in contact with us. This first message gave us the hope to keep going, to keep supporting those in need. We’ve been here for over 8 months, collecting, shipping, coordinating, collaborating - doing anything we can to help children in Ukraine 🇺🇦
