The AJ & RJ Show

🤘 WHEN ROCK MAKES HEADLINES, WE PAY ATTENTION! 🤘

Well, look who made the news! And for once, neither of us is being questioned by the authorities!

A HUGE thank you to Gianluca "Luca" Zanna and Zanna Records for featuring The AJ & RJ Show in their latest article celebrating the release and radio airplay of "Cuba Libre Rising."

Featuring an all-star lineup including Rudy Sarzo, Robert Sarzo, Jizzy Pearl, and Robin Diaz, this track delivers a powerful message of freedom with some serious rock credentials behind it.

We've always believed that great rock music deserves to be heard, whether it's coming from legendary artists or musicians making noise with something new. Getting to share that music with our listeners is what makes doing this show so much fun. Well, that and the fact that someone keeps letting us near live microphones.

We're proud to be part of the rock community, broadcasting on KNAC.COM and 128db Rock Radio, and it's pretty damn cool when someone takes the time to recognize what we're doing.

Luca, thanks for the shout-out, the music, and for including us in the story. We appreciate it!

MONDAY HAS ARRIVED. SO HAS YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF QUESTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE AND EXCELLENT MUSIC. 🤘

It's EPISODE 105 of THE AJ & RJ SHOW on 128db Rock Radio, and once again, we've assembled a musical lineup that makes absolutely no sense on paper but sounds pretty damn good coming out of your speakers.

This week's collection of musical misfits includes Graham Bonnet Band, Rush, Glenn Hughes, Guns N' Roses, Slipknot, A Perfect Circle, Nightwish, Ozzy Osbourne, and a few more surprises we haven't figured out how to explain yet.

From progressive rock brilliance to full-blown metal mayhem, we've got enough musical diversity to confuse an algorithm. And be sure to pay attention for a special tune from Robert Sarzo and friends with a call to arms!

And, of course, the usual suspects are back:

🤘 ANTISOCIAL — News, opinions, and whatever else has managed to irritate us this week.

🏷️ TOUR TAG — Connecting the musical dots in ways that occasionally make sense.

🌎 THE METAL REACHAROUND (THE WORLD) — Continuing our mission to prove that no corner of the planet is safe from heavy metal.

AND NOW, A WORD FROM OUR NONEXISTENT SPONSORS...

That's right! The AJ & RJ Show is officially seeking sponsors interested in reaching our highly intellectual, culturally sophisticated, financially empowered listening audience.

Okay, we can definitely vouch for the listening part.

But seriously, if your company wants to get in front of a passionate rock audience with impeccable musical taste and a healthy appreciation for sarcasm, let's talk! Hit us up at [email protected]

MONDAY. 11AM CENTRAL. TWO HOURS OF ROCK AND ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGIES. 🤘

It's another edition of THE AJ & RJ SHOW on 128db Rock Radio, and this week's musical lineup looks like somebody threw a record collection down a flight of stairs.

We've got Trivium, Type O Negative, The Violent Hour, Krokus, Armored Saint, Judas Priest, Slayer, Slash, Ted Nugent and...

Wait for it...

NICKELBACK.

Yes. Nickelback. We said it. Deal with it.

And that's only part of the musical mayhem we've got lined up.

On a more serious note, we also acknowledge the passing of the incredibly talented Sass Jordan. A powerhouse voice and a remarkable presence in rock music. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Sass. ❤️

And speaking of sass...

Unfortunately, there's still plenty of it coming from AJ & RJ. Nobody's figured out how to shut these two up yet, and frankly, we're not sure anyone's trying hard enough.

Throw in Antisocial, Tour Tag, The Metal Reacharound (The World) and the usual assortment of commentary that probably sounded better in their heads, and you've got yourself two hours of rock radio.

Turn it up. Even for Nickelback.

And do us a solid, like and share the page. We were told we'd be paid in peanuts, but evidently RJ's allergic so we'll have to settle for page likes. Have a heart.

WE’RE BACK.

Fresh off the final U.S. dates of Iron Maiden’s Run For Your Lives Tour, our ears are ringing, our voices are questionable, and we’re bringing a little of that Maiden energy home with us.

This week on The AJ & RJ Show...

🤘 ANTISOCIAL gets a special edition this week. Considering where we’ve been, you can probably figure out why.

🏷️ TOUR TAG — a son steps up to honor his father’s legacy. And yeah... this one deserves your attention.

🌎 THE METAL REACHAROUND (THE WORLD) heads to GUATEMALA, because apparently our ongoing mission to find metal in every damn corner of the planet remains intact.

And somewhere between all of that, we’re cranking tracks from our local boys The Black Ridge Union, Avatar, Yngwie Malmsteen, P.O.D., a brand-new teeth-rattler from Tony Iommi, and a few other gems we’ll keep to ourselves for now.

Two hours of metal, nonsense, questionable commentary and whatever hearing we have left after Iron Maiden.
