Part 3-After shaping lots of glass today, I got this crazy idea to drill pendants with holes. It’s not my favorite thing to do; but I hope for the best. The little dots are what comes out of a core drill when the holes are done. Maybe I will find a use for them later.

Part 2 of the process! Cut all of these up and reshape. It’s a great way to use up old glass pieces and make new jewelry with them. I even fixed my Ta**us Ring Saw after the cutting ring fell off. I realized I’ve been working with glass over 25 years and I still find it fascinating.

Dichroic Glass can be recycled into something else. These 3 inch discs will be cut up to be used for pendants, earrings, and abstract mixed media. They are so pretty, especially in the sun! The metal oxides migrated to the borders of each piece of glass, a happy accident. There is always something new to learn.

Finally!! Gathered a few hours together to make some jewelry! All new pieces are Sterling Silver. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

A new art method, Gelli printing! The first photo is my hand printed on cyanotype paper and the second hand is printed on map paper. This was fun and I like the light, yet vibrant colors.

I’ve been exploring Gelliplating printing, making unique Mixed media. I’ve been incorporating microphotography as well. It’s a humbling, interesting experience! Thank you to and for broadening my experience! These are hanging at Art Gallery of Snovalley until the end of June.
