The idea for Vet Gear started one Sunday morning at a small breakfast café. At the table across from me, a man sat down wearing one of the “pro-American” brands that currently exist in the market. I, being a Veteran, wondered if this guy ever actually served in the military. As I turned my head to focus on my breakfast, I saw an older gentleman alone at a small table drinking coffee. He was wearing a blue Vietnam Veteran hat. I immediately knew this guy did his time and that this would be someone I would instruct my 7 year old daughter to go up, shake his hand, and tell him thank you for his service.
I wondered if there was a brand on the market that was strictly for Veterans. Something that incorporated style and humor that only the people that stood the watch would understand. The more I dug the more I realized that all the brands I thought were Military brands were just pro-American brands.
I sat down that night, drew out three or four sample ideas and Vet Gear LLC was born.
So then who are we. We are a brand strictly for our nations Veterans. When you see the VetGear logo you know that person took the oath to support and defend our constitution. We market our brand to our nation’s professional Veterans. We are humble, we are proud, and we are respectful.
We exist because all Veterans deserve to be recognized in dignified apparel they can wear humbly, yet with pride.
We are a brand created by Veterans strictly for our nation’s heroes. Vet Gear represents the culture of quiet confidence and professionalism of the humble warfighter. We believe that everyone who served is mission critical, that every role in every branch contributes to achieve noble outcomes.
