So, some exciting things are in the works. I am currently working on my own game system. It is going to be a super simple tabletop space game. It will be agnostic miniatures, and beer and pretzel style. A single sheet of paper for the rule set (front and back). D6 based combat and defense system.
I will be producing the entire thing myself (except the dice). Resin printed miniatures, Ship cards, Rules sheets, Bases and stems for the ships. The packaging will be laser cut wooden boxes to house the whole thing and work as a Dice Tray when opened.
I will be developing the website soon. I registered the domain today and designed the box. I have already written the rules and had a few people look them over. Playtesting will take place at The Wolf and Wyvern - Game and Hobby Shop over the next few weeks to work out any kinks.
My biggest hurdle is going to be 3d models specifically crafted for the game (this is a process I am working on). For now, the game will be using miniatures printed for playtesting.
Anyone interested in helping, please let me know. I will need some graphic design work, some website development, and anyone good at 3d modeling hard surfaces.
