What am I celebrating? The end of 2023 bridal season and the start of 2024 bridal season! I had my final dress pickup of the year yesterday and today I had the first consultation for next year.

šŸšØIMPORTANT SHOP ANNOUNCEMENTšŸšØ

I have some bittersweet news! After LOTS of thinking and praying I have made the decision to switch things up with my business offerings.

Starting in 2024 I will be focusing on bridal and formal gown alterations only. Iā€™ll be moving away from regular clothes alterations and custom sewing. Iā€™ll still be offering sewing machine repair if my schedule allows.

This isnā€™t a decision I came to lightly (or quickly). I know by doing this Iā€™ll be unable to serve a lot of you and in a way Iā€™ll be starting at square one. My business was built on regular clothes alterations and you have all been so wonderful! I would still love to have you follow along with my business and Iā€™ll still rely on your referrals and shares.

I know it can be hard to find a seamstress so please reach out to me. Iā€™d be happy to provide you with names of people who you can contact to see if they are a good fit for what you are needing.

This month Iā€™ll be finishing the items in my queue then taking a break for the holidays. Iā€™ll be limiting the amount of items Iā€™m taking in this month. Iā€™ll be working in January to get everything ready and Iā€™ll start seeing bridal and formal clients in February. (Iā€™ve been in communication with a few of you about custom sewing projects starting next year. Donā€™t worry, youā€™re still on the books! šŸ˜)

Iā€™ll be posting more information in the coming days so keep an eye out for that!

Hereā€™s a sneak peek at Rebecca and Willā€™s wedding!

Rebecca had a vision for her dress that made it truly unique and one of a kind! We swapped out the zipper for a corset and added the custom tulle and lace sleeves. I also made adjustments to the bust and side seams.
