Horse lovers……

🐴Sunrise friends🐴

This boy didn't ask to end up where he did.

Found as a stray in Hopkins Park, this stallion is now safe in the care of Sunrise Center Animal Rescue. While we don't know his story, we do know he has some healing ahead of him.

He's significantly underweight and will need a veterinary exam, ongoing nutritional support, routine care, and eventually castration once he's healthy enough for surgery.

Every bale of hay, every bag of feed, every veterinary visit, and every procedure comes with a cost. We are asking for your help to give this guy the fresh start he deserves.

Many people know Sunrise for the cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies we rescue each year, but we are also a licensed equine rescue. Horses in need deserve the same second chance, and today, this boy is counting on us.

If you'd like to help with his rehabilitation and care, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Keep an eye on our page later this week. We have a gelding who will soon be available for adoption and we're excited to introduce him.

Together, we can help this stallion trade survival for a future—and help more horses find the loving homes they deserve. ❤️🐴

RKIDS will be closed Thursday 6/18, our new roof is up and holding🥳, it’s time to un-tarp the backroom, we have to organize and straighten it up before F/W Consignment begins on August 1st😊

We are looking for Barn homes for some rescue cats. These cats are not social and have been outside cats their whole lives. We have 2 groups of cats needed to be relocated unfortunately. One group of cats lost their barn in the tornado on March 10th. The other group lost their owner because she became ill with cancer. All cats are fixed and vaccinated and healthy.
