Up close with “Ma Maison”() - tailcoat textures and purple-plum checked trousers, some found buttons, and a bit of costume magic with some faux ostrich feather and whopper popper snaps (thank you costume wizards, Jen and BettiJo at .ballet for that trick!🪡)

Designed and built for ’ premiere by (Gabriel Speiller), currently prepping / touring in NYC! I always love working with and her team—congrats on your second season!

My original fabric choice included a bright goldenrod, but after seeing it on the first piece, I decided to give it a bit more of a moody vibe—still striking, just less in your face. Can’t wait to see the dancers bring them to life this weekend! ⚡️🧡💙

Costume design for this performance, with choreography by Matthew Gilmore, set design by Andy Milner, and photography by Austin Colbert for The Aspen Times. Loved how Matthew allowed all of the collaborators to shine and bring their creativity and craft to the work. Congrats team!

Just wrapped up costumes for .aspen’s upcoming performance of Matthew Gilmore’s new work!✨ This piece celebrates the rich history of their local opera house, where the performance will take place. The costumes—soft ruching, a lavender palette, and a slightly modern twist—play off an incredible original set design and score, reflecting the stories and history of this special location. Can’t wait to see it come to life on stage! 💜
