Translating the aesthetics of street art and the effects of cultural movements on the current urban landscape into ready-to-wear wearable art and textile design is the main focus of the WHITNEYMANNEY label. Our textiles are hand created and digitally manipulated in studio through experimenting with various traditional fibers techniques. From sample to finished product: we conceptualize, drape, dra

ft, grade and construct all of our silhouettes. To ensure quality, we work with various fabric print services to achieve the best and work towards that same standard in studio with our hand created fabrics. StudioWM at The Drugstore, circa 2015-2019
The second studio home of WM. This was an interesting co-op space to be in as a fashion designer. During this era, I was still working 30 hours at Danceworks, freelancing in between, and somehow still hitting 30 hours minimum at studio. It felt like KCAI Pt. 2 at times. I met some of my faves, worked on some big projects, designed solo exhibitions, and found myself transitioning to actual "full-time" when I was on my way out.
Y'all love to reference Kat Drugstore, but it was always Osco to me.

I fell in love with S8 this summer and knew it would make a fly party theme. My best memories of being a summer kid were the backyard parties, and it's been forever since I've organized something to celebrate Whitney and not WM🪡
But y'all know this is my self-proclaimed diva summer, so the look had to be A1!

To everyone who made it: thank you from the bottom of my heart for filling my home with love, laughs, and gifts. I truly hope y'all had a good time because y'all truly blessed me. I honestly can't believe I made it to 35 and I can't think of a better group of people to bring it in with 💕
