Pass the Positive

The poem for today
is all about …..
Love and life and living
and believing this way

He was just a young man
when he said this to me
I am not the sure if the future
is what I want to see

I wasn’t quite sure
what I should say
Why would you say that?
What makes you feel this way?

Love one another?
What is that all about?
I watch a lot of people,
seems like all they do is shout

The world seems,
a little mixed up
Anger and hatred,
another war will erupt

Money and power,
is that really the goal?
What about God?
When did God lose control?

I sat down with him
and I started to talk about Faith
God is all about Love and Kindness
and Amazing Grace

Our lives are all about Love
The choice is up to you
Love one another
is what we have to do

Could you imagine
if all of us did that?
The world would be much better
if we would Love God back

Trust me my man,
God’s love never goes away
Believe that this is true
God wants you to stay

Then I will see you tomorrow?
Pass the Love is what I said
Your life is amazing
Pass the Positive is what you spread

Great Story!

Learn how to do it in the doing of it
is what I heard him say
My good buddy Brian is coming over
A hot water line is the goal for today

Brian my good friend
is a brother to me
The man is a genius
He sees what others don’t see

The water line was easy
just getting it there
Now comes the challenge
Hook it up to where?

I suggested that we do it one way
Brian said, “Hey man,
you are a Chiropractor,
please go away.”

But I had an idea
that I thought he should know
He said it again,
“It is time for you to go.”

So I left
and when I got back,
everything was disconnected!
Had a slight chest attack 🤔

My confidence was shaken.
Does he really know what he is doing?
My sink and my filters
were laying there in ruin

He said I am going
to try to explain it to you again
We need a few more parts
and this project will end

How did he know?
What did he see?
He was thinking 9 steps ahead
I was only at 3

At the end of the story
I am standing there in awe
Taking all kinds of pictures
so you could see what I saw

Thank you Brian
for doing this for me
You are an incredible friend
I am as lucky as I can be.

Celebrate Life!

What happens to the room
when you walk in?
Are people excited,
let the party begin?

My friend and I were talking,
about a Celebration of Life
We both kind of think
that we would like to be alive

So glad to know you, good to see you
I am really going to miss you when you are gone
But because neither of us have left yet
we can Celebrate Life and continue to live on

Celebrate our Lives
while we are still here
A cookout perhaps,
and a lot of good cheer

It is about the difference that we make
because we showed up
Make other people’s lives better
Drink from that cup

Celebration of Life?
It is just getting started
Everyday that we are here
should be highly regarded

Let’s make a toast,
and Celebrate another great day
Just an attitude of gratitude
that makes us feel this way 🤘✌️😎

S - Success = Overcoming. Together we can Overcome anything.

F- Friendships nourish and comfort the soul. Reach out, stay in touch.
R - Relax. God’s timing is always on time.
I- Imagine World Peace. What a beautiful place this will be.
D- Dream - Imagication - when Dreams come true. Dreams do come true but first you have to have some. Dream on and Imagicate your Success.
A- Awake - Wake Up! There is so much to see and learn and do.
Y- Yes - Say Yes and then figure out how to make it so. U Can Do It!

Could you Imagine?

I just got off the phone with Jerry
On January 18 he will turn 91
I was learning about his life
He is still talking about what his life will become

Hey Jerry, do you realize
that the timeline is running out?
He looked at me rather surprisingly
and asked what I was talking about

How do you get to 90?
I really want to know
I am cruising into 70
I think I would like to be part of your longevity show

He said Rick, it is simple
everything is in your head
What you think is what comes about
That is what he said

Experiential wisdom?
I am so lucky to have my friend
Jerry my man, you are awesome,
can’t wait to talk to you again 💪😊🤘

Terrific Tuesday

Terrific Tuesday? Why do I call it that?
Just starts the day better, what you think is where it is at

Here is a thought that will start your day right
The Universal Energy was working on it all night

Something really good is going to happen today
It is amazing what can happen when you believe this way

The pendulum of life has a magnet inside
Terrific Tuesday is the Attitude that attracts the best ride

Love one another is the best energy that there is
If we all play along, we will Love where we live

Genuine Compassion for each other, will energize the light of your soul
Love and Compassion for each other, helps your life buggy roll

If you want Love and Compassion to be in your life
You must demonstrate Love and Compassion, with your Life

Tremendous Thursday
Another great day in the neighborhood😎
I wrote this sometime ago and thought I would share it with you

Love is the seed of Compassion
Compassion is the seed of Kindness
Kindness is the seed of Friendship
Friendship is the seed of Global Warming
Global Warming is the seed of World Peace
Those are some pretty good seeds 👍
The reason that I write, is to share things that I think, that would hopefully make your life better.

Our thoughts are the seeds that grow into our future. Our thoughts are written with the words that we know.

The purpose of my book Road Trip is to positively change your life with the practice of using the Good Words that are in it.

What a beautiful world this can be if we just Pass the Positive, Pass the Love and Pass the Aloha.
