Lesson of the day: It's a long yet worthwhile read.

Excellence & A peek into one of my manuscripts: Which is towards the bottom, so you’ll have to read on.
~Anything with quotation marks is not mine.
This, I assure you, is not for everybody. Alas tis a shame for the world would be a better place overall.
Excellence: A goal, pursuit & lifestyle.
Something we can strive for and practice with diligence and patience.
I strive for excellence, not perfection; virtue, merit and other qualities for myself.
One’s very reputation, character and person can be discerned by their word and actions, and their literal words in an everyday setting, that, which has become their all around character as we know it.
And I use excellence, because perfection is NOT as possible, I think it is humanly impossible, because no matter how hard we try, we WILL fall short, we have emotions and the like, and we will at one time or another show it, some more than others; be it anger, jealously, rage, VAINITY and the list is enormous!
Discipline & Discretion:
I have an entire write up on this; it’s in one of my forthcoming books, which I should share a bit of…
And it’s from a book on Spiritual Black Magic, yes, one can be ‘dark’ and have merit as well as all of the above!
“Excellence:
1. The state or quality of excelling or being; (‘Me: it is in a way, ‘becoming’~). Exceptionally good; extreme merit;
2. An action, characteristic, feature, etc., in which a person excels”
This can and does include personality, involvement with others, our actions and reactions; and refinement of one’s self, evolution of the self.)
“…The Ancient Greeks had a concept of arête, which meant an outstanding fitness for purpose. This occurs in the works of Aristotle and Homer. Aristotle once said. "We are what we repeatedly do . . . excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
“Sophistication is the quality of refinement — displaying good taste, wisdom and subtlety rather than crudeness, stupidity and vulgarity.”
~ I see this of one’s Personality rather than that of a social class.
“In Ancient Greece, Sophia was the special insight of poets and prophets.
Recognized varieties of sophistication include:
• Cultural sophistication
• Intellectual sophistication”
The fact or state of excelling; and at least trying!
Not so much as for superiority; of being pompous or egocentric, for, as I have written only the pure of heart & intentions will be let into the gates of wisdom, the Underworld and more.
Ego is an anchor that will drown us. It causes much drama and one that is full of ego will NEVER touch the Divine. Yes, those who ride their high horse also.
(If you’re a Satanist, go for it zealously, but I am not. To each there own and it makes the world go round.)
“2.An excellent quality or feature:
1.Moral excellence; goodness; righteousness.
Conduct of one's life and to ethical principles;
~ An Example: being trust worthy, honor…
“A good or admirable quality or property”
Thus far, this will be the title of said book, however it is subject to change.

This book is rather like a survival manual after a spiritual awakening and codes of conduct for the Underworld and Darkness plus much, much more.
~Only a few from the table of contents:
Contents
The Yin & Yang of Spiritual Black Magic
Mysticism & Madness
The Passions of the Underworld
In the Aftermath of Spiritual Black Magic: An Awakening

No thievery, please. Come up with your own, another virtue.
This book is quite relevant to today’s vampire as it tells of what happens upon and after an awakening of the brutal sort, about spiritual awakenings in general, and the devastation it first brings.
