I finished this up this week!

I get asked quite often if I would make a bag out of something that someone gives me that is special to them. Of course, I can usually make this happen. This quilt was supplied by the customer. We discussed what parts of the quilt she wanted to showcase. Of course this hand stitched name had to be a focus, because the name just happens to be her Dad’s name. 🥹♥️
How perfect! She picked the wooden frame in the deep brown color in the large size. These frames are so nice with the magnet closure.

If you stopped at The Downtown Market today! You probably saw my brand new sign! I was excited to make it this week!
I used part of a vintage embroidered bedspread and then added my own letters! Letters were hand cut by me out of so many of my fabric scraps from my collections. Then I picked this awesome stitch from my sewing machine that I’ve never used before. The mustardy gold thread just makes the letters pop!!

This is hopefully my first of fabric word signs! I have other ideas and I can’t wait to try it again!!
