Hi I want to introduce our Sarah she is caring and the best hugger in this world in the summer of 2019 she stared having anxiety about school and more than normal we thought it was a kid thing and kept talking to her that she was going to do great. Fast forward to November of 19 she was hallucinating I spoke with her doctor in research to get her immediately to the hospital, she had CT's and MRI and said she will be staying for more testing on the neurology floor she was in the hospital for 5 days and finally we were told she has Mesial temporal sclerosis and we need to be seen at LeBonheur childrens hospital and that was another week long in testing to confirm her diagnosis. In October of 2020 we noticed her eyes looked out of alignment and her ophthalmologist recommended a nearby that wanted to speak with a neurologist to make sure if this wasn't from the first condition. Her neurologist agreed that an MRI needed to be ordered and was worried that something is going on with her brain stem . Her neurologist at the time was sure it was mitochondrial disease and sent is to a geneticist the results came back normal but he is still very concerned during this process neurologist retired with a new neurologist and they ordered an EEG and a spinal tap based off of the EEG findings in the spinal tap it is leading them to a autoimmune encephalitis we will be starting IVIG infusion autoimmune treatments Wednesday.
Recently we went to Shriner's Children's Hospital she will receive braces I thought to brighten up her day why not and a pair of cool fun socks who wants to brighten her day and send her some socks up mid-calf just below the knee with her braces and know that she's not alone the zebra pattern for her brace which reprents Rare and unknown diseases she is currently still diagnosed with an unknown disease we do not have the official diagnosis she's also rumination syndrome which we will be going to Nationwide Children's Hospital to seek Specialists help
