Day 30!!!
✨Ren Faire Edition✨🧚‍♀️

We took a day trip to Chattanooga for the first annual & we had the most wonderful time!! Was it crowded & rainy? Yes, but that didn't dull the magic at all! I can't wait to see how this event continues to grow in the coming years!!! 💕

I made my whole costume, which is SO fun! It's pretty much the exact same thing I wore back in April, but the reverse side of the corset! I also added some comfier shoes & an umbrella for shade - and rain yesterday!!

There's something kind of poetic about building & adding to a costume over time! I already have plans & edits in mind, to make these pieces more comfy & fun! 💕

Pink skirt is just a ruffled elastic waist skirt!
Wings are from Amazon & adjusted by me to sit in my corset - I made a reel!
All the fabric I used is second hand & the corset is made from craps of vintage lace tablecloths, napkins, curtains & doilies!

A custom dress for my wonderful Mother-in-law 🤍🤍🤍

I adore sewing for the people I love! So when my MIL asked me to make her a custom dress for a gala she was attending, I jumped at the chance!!

She came to me with inspo for a navy shift dress with feathers at the hem and three quarter length sleeves with a very slight bell!

This dress is a modified vintage Vogue pattern in a 4-ply Stretch Crepe from with a mix of maribou & ostrich feathers from Online Feathers on Etsy

A little behind the *seams* of sewing this Bridgerton inspired dress! Sewing costumes is my first love & I just adore when I get to dive back in to my first passion 🩵🤍

This dress was so much fun to work on! I have been wanting a reason to make a Regency Era inspired dress since the first season of Bridgerton!

From start to finish, including toiling & making a matching reticule, this costume took about 20 hours to sew! Including about 5 hours of hand sewing at the end, that I forgot to film because it was in the wee hours of the night! lol

I was so happy to collaborate with on this project! They are my go-to for costume & special event fabrics! And they kindly these fabrics!

For this dress I used -
IRIDESCENT STRETCH TAFFETA | 6700 - BRIDAL SEAFOAM
&
JENNY 3D FLORAL GLITTER SEQUIN EMBROIDERY MESH 26638 - AQUA

I used the Mix & Match Regency Dress pattern by and slightly modified the neckline & skirt! SO happy with this pattern!!
