It took me 13 years, a stent in the Army repairing missile and radar systems, and nearly a decade in industrial maintenance to finally realize something:
I don't belong behind a desk, and I don't belong on a corporate schedule.
I belong in the shop.
With 6-1/2 kids (yes, 7 soon) and a very patient wife, I finally hung up the safety vest to build something of my own.
Full Boar Labs is officially live. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s fueled by caffeine and ADHD. We make gear for the makers, the tech-heads, and the dads who are just trying to keep the wifi running.
I wrote a full breakdown of the journey (and the chaos) on the new site. I’d love for you to give it a read.

Question for my fellow makers: What’s the one project in your garage right now that is "90% finished" but you just haven't crossed the finish line? Let me know in the comments so I don't feel so bad about mine. 👇
From repairing the Patriot missile system to running a chaotic maker workshop. Here is the story behind Full Boar Labs, the ADHD, and the drive to create.
