As a mother of four and a passionate fossil hunter in Florida, I love exploring our beautiful beaches, rivers, and creeks to uncover treasures from the Ice Age to the Miocene era, ranging from 11,000 to 23 million years old. I frequently take my kids on adventures, sharing the excitement of fossil hunting and inspiring the next generation of paleontologists. To bring this experience home, I create

Each kit teaches users how to identify various shark species and other marine fossils, making it an engaging and educational experience. ✨ The wait is finally over… I can officially share what I’ve been so excited about! ✨

For years, you’ve followed along as I’ve shared my fossil hunting adventures, shark teeth, Ice Age fossils, and fossil buckets through Lexi’s Shark Shop. So many of you have encouraged me to teach others, and I’m so excited to say… it’s finally happening!

🦈🦴 Junior Fossil Hunters with Lexi is officially here!

I’ll be bringing fun, hands-on fossil programs to daycares, schools, homeschool groups, libraries, birthday parties, camps, and community events!

Kids will get to explore real fossils, learn about the incredible animals that once roamed Florida, discover how fossils are formed, ask lots of questions, and even take home a real shark tooth to remember the experience.

💙 My very first program was a true success and my heart was so full watching how eager the kids were to learn discover and identify for themselves.
Thank you so much for believing in this new adventure and giving me the opportunity to share my love of fossils with your students. I can’t wait!

✨ The wait is finally over… I can officially share what I’ve been so excited about! ✨

For years, you’ve followed along as I’ve shared my fossil hunting adventures, shark teeth, Ice Age fossils, and fossil buckets through Lexi’s Shark Shop. So many of you have encouraged me to teach others, and I’m so excited to say… it’s finally happening!

What a KILLER freaking day!!!

Not only did I get to go fossil hunting with the awesome Fossil Recovery Exploration crew, but I also got to meet the one and only OMGITSWICKS himself! If you know Florida humor, then you already know 😂 “Glad I caught it on my flip phone” and “Only in Florida” had me cracking up all day.

But THEN… the last hour and a half of the premium dig turned absolutely insane. I hit a jackpot honey hole!!!

I filled my sifter not even realizing what was hiding in it until I started shaking everything clean. One single sift had:🦈 2 Megs🦈 1 posterior Meg🦈 2 big Hemis🦈 2 beautiful Hastalis

Then somehow… the VERY NEXT sifter was almost just as loaded!!! 🤯 After that, I completely cleaned the spot out 😅

And to top it all off… I officially found my NEW biggest Meg in my entire collection!!!

This tooth will forever be known as my “OMGWICKS Meg” 😂🦈

Days like this are exactly why I’m so obsessed with fossil hunting. You truly never know when you’re one scoop away from the find of a lifetime.
