I have been a crafter since I was in grade school and was taught crocheting and Swedish Weaving by my grandmother and a favorite aunt. I learned sewing in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades. I continued on as an adult to be self-taught in knitting, macrame' and various other crafts. I discovered jewelry-making through a friend, just in the past almost two years, and have never done anything befo
re that has filled me with the pure joy that making jewelry has done. I love, love, love it!! I have read many times throughout the years the phrase, "Find what you love and do it", and never really knew what "it" meant until I started making jewelry. It fills me with pure joy and I get lost in it and the creativity of it from conception to finish.
