Still need to weave in ends, but I made a hat. It's so retro.

(US terms)
Double crochet
Front post double crochet stitches create the cables all the way down.
Each color change I ran a back post stitch all the way around , except for the fpdc on the cable, and then every 5th row was a bpdc.
At the brim I knitted a 2" brim.

I have been crocheting some cowls this and last week. This one is just so pretty. Maybe someone will get it for Christmas.

Though I'm still weaving as my main creative outlet I am getting the itch to crochet something.
Another "ugly" blanket may be in the works. The kids tend to claim them and then they disappear from the couch.

While most of my days are weaving these days, I do still crochet (especially when temperatures are below zero)
Currently making a couple hundred assorted size squares in order to destash and make a patchwork Afghan.
