Me Made May and a new make! I finally made the Buckthorn tote by , and I love it! You can never go wrong with one of Anna’s patterns. I liked that this one has space, but it isn’t too big, and it can be worn as a backpack. Win, win, win. ✨

It’s made up in Memento canvas! I’m excited that my new collection has canvas in it, and this print also has some neon. 💛 I did get a smidge fussy with the selvage and front pocket. The selvages are too much fun to play with.

Actual outfit is Me Made too. Wiksten shift top in my Harriot fabric, and another pair or Saturday Shorts. Love love love.

Who loves a scrap quilt? In this version of Elate I gave myself full permission to dive into my stash, my scraps and anything else. My two favorite things about this version are 1) using fabrics that are precious to me and that I’ve had sitting in my stash for a while, and 2) letting big, bold prints do their thing because they can play some good visual tricks on the geometry of the piecing. ✨

Fabrics included are some of mine as well as from . It’s quite the party! 🎉

Two-color quilts can be beautifully dramatic. The restraint of a limited palette forces you to focus on the shapes at hand. In this version of my new pattern Elate I used only two fabrics instead of many, and I love the visual games it plays. It’s squares and rectangles, but the sizes and shapes are changing so much. I love a pattern that gives you some possibilities.

Fabrics are from Memento, and picking just two is always the hardest part for me. Anyone else love the look of a two-color quilt, but have trouble silencing their more-is-more tendencies in the process?

New pattern alert! Meet Elate. It’s the type of project where your fabric can shine. I’ve made four so far (and have more planned!), which means it’s just the right amount of addictive. 🤓 This first version I’m sharing is made using my newest Memento fabrics that are shipping this summer. ✨ It is made from the fat quarter bundle, and I loved seeing how each of the designs could mix and match.

If you’re looking to spice up your long weekend, this is your girl.

Want to do a quilt along? I’ll be sharing plans for that soon, so get yourself day.

Happy Friday, friends! 😘😘

Me Made May and warm weather gave me the perfect excuse to sew up a new hat! There’s nothing better than making and wearing a new project all in the same day. ✨

I tried the bucket hat pattern from . I like that the pattern includes 4 brim options and many sizes. This is the 3/4 circle brim, in large and without any interfacing. I wanted something soft, shady and easy to bring along with me. So far, so good!

Me Made May, and a happy realization that I don’t think I’ve shared this make before. I think I made this matching set last fall. Fabric is a lovely linen remnant from , top is Jenna by , shorts are Saturday shorts by . The shirt is a bit too oversized (maybe I’d like view B better?), but the shorts are perfect. I wear them often and love this pattern so much.

I also made a little mini shirt for funsies from my Shirts FPP pattern.

This jacket is made from my newest fabric, Memento, in one of the canvas prints. This substrate is 🤌🏻✨
Pattern is by . It’s been on my to-make list for awhile, and it didn’t disappoint! After much thought (and research) and being between two sizes, I sized down. It’s perfect.

Sweater is me made too. No Frills sweater by . Love it.
