New bag alert! 🚨 I made this Favorite Project Pouch in Memento canvas. The pattern is in Rashida Coleman-Hale ‘s latest book, Zakka Sewn, and it’s a good one! It’s a fun sew, comes together easily and will hold more than you think it should. As I loaded it up for photos, I couldn’t believe how many skeins of yarn I could keep putting in.

We have a long weekend ahead, and if you aren’t participating in the quilt along, maybe bag making is up your alley. 🧡

I’m making Elate quilt blocks, yay! It is a bit tricky to photo, because I’m using fabrics pretty close in terms of color, but hopefully you get the gist. 🧡💕❤️

Fabric and color inspo came from cleaning up in my studio and having this pile of solids that needed some love. I’m loving the similarities as much as I like the clashing. I’ve also pulled some other print fabrics that might get incorporated in as well. We’ll see! There’s no real plan, just getting in the groove and going with my gut.

Today is the start of the Elate Quilt Along. 🥳 I’m kicking things off with a new version that I made for a wedding gift. I talk about this one and the other versions that I’ve made, as well as plenty of other Elate-related stuff on my blog. It’s all linked in my profile. 💚

The quilting is one of my Sessoms motifs with Totally Quilted . I love how it looks with this design! It is quilted using my BERNINA USA Q24 quilting machine. ✨
