🎀💕 A Little Love for Women Going Through Breast Cancer Treatment 💕🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year I want to do something a little more personal.

I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada, but New Hampshire will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was young, I lost my best friend’s mom to breast cancer. Over the years, I’ve also known other incredible women who have faced this fight.

So this October, I would love to bring a little extra comfort and encouragement to women going through treatment. 💕

Through my Mary Kay team, I’m hoping we can come together to sponsor 200 Chemo Care Kits to be distributed to women receiving breast cancer treatment.

Each kit is $28 and includes:

🎀 Mary Kay Satin Hands® Hand Lotion
🎀 Mary Kay Satin Lips® Shea Butter Balm

Two simple little comforts for women who may be dealing with dry, sensitive skin and lips during treatment. Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that remind someone they aren't walking through it alone. 💕

My goal is to collect the sponsored kits and send them to my Mary Kay director in New Hampshire, who will distribute them on our behalf.

And if you would like, you can also include a personal note of encouragement with your kit. A few kind words can mean so much. 💗

I was 11 years old, sitting in my 6th grade English class, sick as a dog with whatever cold was going around at the time. My head was down on my desk when my teacher turned the TV on—and we watched as the second plane hit.

At 11, I didn't fully understand what I was seeing. I didn't understand what it meant for our country, or how deeply that day would change the future.

But I remember what came after.

For a little while, the world felt different. People came together. Strangers helped strangers. We checked on one another. We stood together, cried together, and reminded each other that we weren't alone.

The world seemed a little kinder then.

Today, I remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

And I remember the lesson that came from one of the darkest days in our history: when we come together, we are stronger.

Let’s talk about these CURLS! 🥰🧶

Every single curl on Meredith was hand-crocheted without a pattern. No shortcuts, no “close enough” — just hours of working each curl individually.

And the best part? Look at that BOUNCE! 😍

So much time, patience, and love went into this little girl’s hair, and I think every curl was worth it. 💜
