From 15-18 months, a transition to one nap, lasting 2-3 hours, is typically observed. 🪄PUT AN END TO SHORT NAPS✨
1. Put your baby down to sleep while they are awake. They will learn to connect sleep cycles on their own once they learn how to put themselves to sleep initially.
2. Alter their wake windows⏰ depending on your babys age their wake windows may need to be decreased or increased to better get their body ready for a nap 🥱
3. Make sure the environment 🛌is conducive to sleep! You want the room DARK, a white noise machine playing and a comfortable bed and the temperature just right.
4. Make sure it won’t be time for your little one to eat during their nap. Try to feed them within an hour before their next nap. 🍼
5. Avoid screen time 🚫📺at least 1 hour before naps.
6. Use a sleep training technique💤😴
