🌿 Some days the work feels endless.
The grass keeps growing.
The projects keep waiting.
The weeds somehow return faster than we can pull them.
Today was one of those days.
A few hours spent outside tending to the things we care about. The yard. The trees. The spaces that make a house feel like home.
There is something satisfying about caring for what we’ve been given.
But I’ve learned something lately.
We need tending to, too.
Not in grand ways.
Just small moments of care.
A hot shower.
A favorite shower steamer.
A few quiet minutes before tomorrow begins.
The work will still be there in the morning.
Tonight, I’m choosing a little rest. 🤍
