I recently sent these two dresses (and one necklace) to New York state. These are some of my favorite dresses that I've made! The teal owl-print one is made with the Surfrider pattern from Liberty Jane and the pink floral one is made with the Marguerite pattern from . I still have some more of the pink dress left in my ship, but the teal is unfortunately sold out.

One of these lovely opal sun pendant necklaces is headed to California. After I made these, I was surprised to see that the collector version of the AG Rapunzel doll has a similar pendant necklace, except it's on a pink ribbon instead of chain. I thought about putting these pendants on ribbon instead, but I decided against it, both to avoid copyright issues and additional work. 😆 I have more of these at https://evsewstinyclothes.etsy.com

It's nighttime, so my lighting is not great, but I just finished this adorable coat and had to share. It's made with the Le Marais Coat pattern from Liberty Jane. I used camel-colored cotton (?) flannel, but I think it looks a lot like wool, and in pictures it looks like suede to me. My daughter loves it, so I will probably give it to her, unless she would rather have one of the pink ones I'll be making at a later date. AND I just made six pairs of the white tights pictured as well. They are made from cozy stretch fleece using the Simply Tights Pattern from . The dress is the Abbey Road A-Line dress from in vintage fabric that I made a while ago.

I've been enjoying making clothes for my Pleasant Company Felicity lately. Unfortunately, her leg fell off, so she can't model her new clothes properly until I fix that. She needs a good cleaning and hair treatment, too. Her hair looks less destroyed than I remember, so hopefully, I can improve the texture somewhat.

Who is the agent of chaos who gave my child "100 Ants" for Halloween? Do they understand how much havoc my kids could wreak with this? If I hadn't found these first, they would have been scattered around the house and I would be finding them in random, annoying places for the next 15 years. Why does this product exist? Anyway, I haven't thrown them away yet, because I need to think about whether I might need 100 ants in the future. What would you do with 100 (or 59 cents worth of) ants? FYI, they're not edible.

I just sold my the last of my yellow and peach stripe seersucker dresses, and sent it to NYC this morning! I have some all-blue seersucker in my stash, and I'm thinking of making some more dresses like this with it, but maybe long sleeves next time. What do you think? Pattern is (slightly tweeked) from . This blue calico jumpsuit should be arriving at its final destination in California today. I made it quite a while ago, and even though it's a great piece, man, have I improved in my sewing technique since then. The outside of the jumpsuit looks great, but the inside...it was a little rough. The lining wasn't sewn down, which I apparently thought was acceptable at the time when I made it, but I would never do that now! To fix the issue but keep the appearance the same on the outside, I hand-whipstitched the lining down onto the waistband seam allowance, and the end result was so much neater. This dress turned out pretty groovy, even though it was the last thing I made with my old machine before it went completely haywire and I had to get a new one. Are the bracelets working as an accessory? I think they are, but maybe they're too shiny? IDK. The pattern is the Corinne Dress from . I was very meticulous when cutting this fabric to make sure the little diamonds would line up in a pleasing way. A print like this could be a disaster if you just wing it with the cutting. 😆 I decided last minute to make the piece around the neck out of orange contrast fabric, and I think that was the right choice.

I felt like I needed a one-off, relatively quick project, so I made this dress that I've been wanting to make for a while. I was intimidated by the piping, but it went fine, I guess. I definitely learned some things about piping, so it will hopefully be easier next time I use it. The pattern is the Cameron Dress from Appletotes. They like to use facings, but I think I'm going to use a full bodice lining if I make this again. Cute pattern, though. I had the fabric for a long time before I figured out what to make with it, and I had to fussy-cut the fabric to make sure the large floral print didn't look too weird. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to sell this one. I guess I'll hang on to it awhile a see how I feel. P.S. the color is not so garish in real life. I don't know why my camera turns the reddish-purple color to neon magenta, lol. Oh, and I made the bracelets, too.
