June 22, 1974 โ The Open-Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumลกiลกkฤs officially opened to the public. Created to preserve Lithuaniaโs disappearing rural heritage, the museum features authentic homes, churches, mills, and farm buildings relocated from different regions of the country, offering visitors a unique glimpse into traditional Lithuanian life.
