This necklace blends modern edge with ancient symbolism. An antiqued silver chain accented with a touch of 12k gold paper-clip links, a subtle rhinestone, and a tiny silver leaf for a hint of sparkle and texture. At its center a solid antique pewter scarab beetle—an age-old symbol of protection, renewal, and good fortune—beautifully weighty for its size and rich in meaning.

Can I be honest with you?

I’m absolutely in love with how these bracelets turned out! ✨ ♥️

I used recycled glass beads made by the Krobo tribe in Ghana, West Africa. Aren’t they beautiful? And, handmade!

They are made using an old method that has been used for centuries. Using a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The procedure for making the beads consists in turning the broken glass into powdered glass, then it’s poured into molds of clay, and baked in a specialized oven. The final result? These, absolutely gorgeous beads! Ah, and they are environmentally friendly.

For a touch of pizzazz, I added some of my favorite artisan made components. Brass core, dipped in 12 k gold and processed for an antique look.

Oh, yes. I love them! Do you?
