Friends, we will be having a Fat Quarter sale to benefit Neighbor’s Nest Christmas fabric fund.

Each Fat Quarter is $3.50 or 3/$10. Fabric will be purchased with the money raised to buy quality fabric to make Christmas bags to put toys/gifts in for disadvantaged kids in the area.
That’s about $1.50 for each fat quarter or $3 when you purchase 3/$10. Please help us help Neighbor’s Nest get the bags the need. The other $2 per FQ buys the fat quarters at cost.

We have FQ/ fabric lines distributed by Riley Blake, Andover fabrics, and MODA

How it works: comment (sold, mine, me, etc) under the picture in this listing. Pictures will be added between now and tomorrow at 8pm. The sale window is open until 8 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

We will also add yardage at $9 a yard. You can pay by PayPal or Venmo. In order to save on fees and the most going to NN, please send friend and family.

Mystery Moda Scrap Bags….. $12.99 each plus shipping

Packaged by Moda, these 1/2 lb bags contain the edge of the fabric from making charm squares and layer cakes. They measure 1.5-5 inches wide. I have been using these for years and have never came across a bag I couldn’t use. High quality Moda fabric collections.

Again, Moda puts these together and are sealed by Moda. These sell for $15.99-20.99 in quilt shops. I have 28 unopened bags available.

I can not guarantee which bag you will receive, what size or fabric. I can say all pieces are at least a yard long. Anywhere from 20-36 strips are inside. I’ve never gotten one less that 20 and I have received some that had 36. It just depends on the width of the fabric. These bags were the beginning of my Moda obsession and where I began using only high quality fabrics as I could tell the difference in ease of sewing, texture, and beauty. I could also affordably work with different designers collections.

🦋 Scrappy Fabric Butterflies 🦋

If you can make a messy bow, this butterfly will be a piece of cake!

No measuring. No perfection required. Just fabric scraps, a few wooden beads, and a little fluffing to create a butterfly full of shabby charm.

Mix your favorite blue-and-white fabrics, crisscross the strips, wrap the center, add a beaded body, then shape the wings. A tiny snip on each side creates those sweet butterfly wing indentations that make all the difference but of course optional 🥰

The best part? The more uneven and fluffy they are, the prettier they look!

Simple, scrappy, and so much fun. 💙🦋👑

These Moda scrap bags, weighing 1/2 lb, are on sale for $12.99 for a limited time. They are regularly $15.99. What do you get? aout 20-30 strips of retired prints. They are a mystery so there is no way to know what you are getting. They are end of bolt and contain a lil' selvage. The strips range from 1.5" to 5 inches. From our experience, they are usually about the same since within the bag. They are the cuts left from layer cakes. This is what Deonne uses for her Jelly Roll race quilts you all have commented that you love.
1 bag is 1/2 and only $12.99. This is a great way to get a variety in your project. Although Moda tries to match fabrics, its not always guaranteed. We have had scrap bags all match but 4 pieces. However, we've been able to use those pieces on other projects.
