Ever since their school days in Cambridge, the history and heritage of New England has been close to our founders hearts. Walking amongst the brownstone buildings and the historic streets of Massachusetts, they fell in love with the buildings and furniture—with the heirlooms passed down from generation to generation. When they moved to Los Angeles, they soon found an appreciation for the spontaneous, whimsical and contemporary, but longed for the rich history of early American traditions. They found friends who shared their loves and desires—growing families who were looking to balance their past with their new and changing future. With these thoughts in their hearts, they set out to seamlessly intertwine history, heirlooms and vintage craft with contemporary lifestyles. Bringing these two loves together is the goal of Franklin & Ben. A brand that references history by revitalizing traditional craft with contemporary twists.

As an Asian American family owned business, this issue hits close to home.

We at Million Dollar Baby Co. stand against AAPI hate, and commit to the following:

Bringing in speakers to address AAPI hate crimes

Encouraging employees to speak out and take action

Supporting employee personal donations through our charitable match program

Continuing conversation and education through our Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Committee

We have also donated $20,000 to the AAPI Community Fund, and will continue to stand against all acts of racism, injustice, and prejudice.

Together, we can do better.

We're listening, we're learning, and we're ready to act.

As a first step our family of brands at Million Dollar Baby Co have committed to do the following:

· Continuing to encourage our employees to speak out and mobilize
· Reviewing and revising company practices to those that will better promote diversity and inclusion, including our interview practices and vendor considerations
· Creating a company Diversity and Inclusion Committee
· Implementing holidays on Election Day
· Committing to creating and sharing more imagery of Black families in our marketing
· Supporting employee personal donations through our charitable match program
· To start, donating $100,000 to Equal Justice Initiative, Campaign Zero, and other organizations that directly impact Black families.

We stand against all acts of racism, injustice, and prejudice and we are committed to doing better as a company.
