THANKYOU all for the truly lovely birthday wishes today. I don’t actually celebrate it and would forget it altogether if my friends didn’t remind me, which is so cool and annoying! Ha. So on that note, For my birthday I would love to show you a little something I’ve been working on for a while, my new photography page. In my photography I use a camera that has been manually rewired to disrupt its color sensors, providing an array of vibrant effects, all achieved in-camera… no apps, filters or AI. It’s all very exciting to me and I hope you’ll enjoy it too. Lots more to come. And thank you again for the kind birthday wishes!

Happy 4th of July from Michael Schmidt Studios

In celebration of our 250th birthday we have our 8’ x 5’ American Flag which we co-designed, engineered and fabricated for Chrome Hearts. Crafted from over 14,000 individually linked sterling silver CH crosses with stars pavéd in nearly 300 carats of flawless diamonds. She currently hangs in the Chrome Hearts store in NYC.
