What a treat to be asked to create the first actually, truly gay fashion show, made with the yarn of gay sheep! This remarkable project, in collaboration with and , is an incredible story, related here in today’s NY Times by the indomitable . I’m so touched and honored. My thanks go to Vanessa, to Kelly Cutrone and her wonderful team, my new Grindr family, to my bestie Morrison and to my right hand, 💪 And mostly to Michael Stücke, the humble shepherd who had a vision to care for these remarkable creatures and in turn has shone a beautiful light on an ugly practice and has changed many lives in doing so, including mine ❤️

Still reeling from last night’s epic performance at 🧨 She asked if she could wear again the headpiece I made for her a few years ago for Pride and of course I was thrilled. But I had a few surprises up my sleeve for her as well. This last week we created this hand-linked Mylar and coque feather shrug and I begged to crystal her iconic Hula Hoop! Grace, utterly divine as always. As a young artist I dreamt of creating something for Grace, the most stylish woman to, well, grace a stage. Dreams do come true! Many thanks to my wonderful friend, no less a legend herself, 💋 Some footage is hers xx
