Yesterday was 12 hours of insanity 😩 there were too many surrenders 😞 a boy caked in filth 😞 a girl with a broken leg 🙏 a boy with a hole on his backside and a joker smile carved into his face by another boy 😭 two girls so emaciated and old that they may not even make it through the week 🙏 two little boys that are scared of everything 😞 and so many more 🙏❤️🙏 please send healing energy to those we can fix and peaceful energy for those that need to cross over 🙏❤️🙏 we will continue to be the lighthouse beacon in the storm for guinea pigs everywhere 🙏❤️🙏 but if you follow the sanctuary, you know that some days are more overwhelming than others 🙏❤️🙏 we are closed today, but we are open on Christmas from 12 to 5 🎄❄️ the sanctuary wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season ❄️🎄❤️ filled with warmth and love 🙏❤️🙏 thank you for everything you do to get us through everything we face to save all of these fur babies 🙏❤️🙏

Good news! Ms Vada is feeling the relief of metacam! Tonight is the first evening she came running for her veggie treat and climbed the bars begging for it in weeks.

It is so nice seeing her lively personality again. Previous she started staying in 1 spot for long periods of time and stopped coming out for treats, I'd have to find her and pass them to her.

BuddyElf came in tonight 🙏 ❤️🙏 he isn’t in the best shape, but he feels better now and is finally resting 🙏❤️🙏 so many rough blows lately 😞 Oliander has a tumor developing in her neck so she will have to be crossed soon 😞🙏 Leila will be going in again for an x-ray and an assessment 😞🙏 it seems the infection has started back up in her leg 😞🙏 too much sadness again too quickly 😞🙏 a little girl Piggy was rescued and brought into us tonight 🙏❤️🙏 she’s tiny and possibly pregnant, but was popcorning with the herd tonight 🥰 it’s amazing how resilient some fur babies can be 🙏❤️🙏 please send healing energy for those we can help and peaceful energy for those we need to cross 🙏❤️🙏
